Celtics Central: Lightning over Thunder (16-4)

WHAT CAME FROM TONIGHT: The Celtics used quick ball movement and another dominant offensive performance to fuel a 105-87 win to wrap up a perfect road trip. While the C’s D didn’t shut down OKC’s one star, they locked down everyone else to limit the Thunder’s options.

BLARING STATS: Passing was key, as 10 of the 12 Celtics that took the floor had at least one assist on the night. Once again, the balanced attack was on display, as 7 Celtics scored in double figures. A very funny stat line for the Thunder’s Kevin Durant: 36 points, 0 assists, 5 rebounds…he really does run everything on that team.

GO TO SLEEP ON THIS: Celtics fans can’t complain right now. After a flawless road trip, the team proved that they can rebound from losses and continue on by spreading the wealth on offense to get wins in many different ways.

Next up: Boston has 3 days to get ready for a home game against rookie sensation Brandon Jennings and the Milwaukee Bucks, Tuesday @ 7:30.
