Now we know why he was freaking out in excitement. Because of a clause in his contract, that start yesterday triggered a $3.25 million bonus. So, how does Pennington answer the call and prove his worth? By getting injured after 3 plays. On top of that, Chad Henne stepped back into the starting role and led them to victory over Tennessee. So if you’re scoring at home, that’s around $1.08 million per play that Pennington made. Who said the economy is bad?
