Albert Haynesworth’s Road Rage Arrest Warrant? Sounds about right…

I really wasn’t the least bit surprised when I saw this story. He’s probably one of the first guys in the NFL I would don the honor of being “most likely to road rage.”

…a Wednesday incident on a Virginia highway in which he’s been accused of striking another motorist. According to the police report, a driver on the Fairfax County Parkway felt he was being tailgated by Haynesworth and offered him a “non-verbal hand gesture.” Haynesworth, noted pussycat that he is, waited until the next red light to get out of his car, approach the car in front of him, and hit him. The charge is simple assault, a misdemeanor in Virginia… A Redskins executive said the team was unaware of the incident or the charge. “This is the first I’m hearing about this,” Tony Wyllie, Redskins senior vice president, said in a phone interview with Redskins beat reporter Jason Reid. “At this time, we need to gather information.” Haynesworth is out of town, according to his lawyer, and is waiting until next week to surrender, which you can apparently do.
Ho hum. That sounds about right. No word on how this will affect his future, but this puts drivers in the state of Virginia on high alert. Watch out! Don’t get stomped out.
