News Flash: Tiger Woods Sucks

This is getting ridiculous. Listen, I’ve always been a golf fan and a Tiger Woods fan, but I’ve officially reached the point of not caring about Tiger or his never-ending quest to change his swing for the 14th time. He’s been downright pathetic as of late, so I’ve moved on to young guns like Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler and Jhonattan Vegas. Right now, Tiger is old news. That’s not to say that he’ll never win again, but it’s hard to picture him winning anytime soon. He bowed out early in the Accenture Match Play, losing as a #1 seed to 16th seeded Thomas Bjorn in 19 holes. As for hole 19:

Woods pushed his drive at the first extra hole well right into desert scrub from where he needed two shots to get back out on to the fairway. He struck his fourth to 18 feet and missed the bogey putt before conceding the match to Bjorn…“Disappointing, very disappointing,” Woods told reporters after falling at the first hurdle for a second time at the Match Play. “I had a chance. I had all the momentum going down 18 and just gave it away. “I was trying to hit a ball in play. The fairway is, what, 200 yards wide and I can’t put the ball in the fairway. That’s very disappointing…”The ball I should have put in play on 19, and consequently I’m out of here.”
So it’s early exit doors and trunk slamming for Tiger. Sounds familiar. As for his next start on the PGA Tour, nobody knows when that will be. Then again, does anybody care?
