A.J. Pierzynski’s B.S. Speeding Ticket

Lots of Spring Training news lately (I guess it really is pretty boring in baseball’s preseason). Check out what happened to the White Sox catcher:

OzzieGuillenwas pulled over doing 75 in a 65 on Wednesday…while wearing his uniform. The news was broken by Ozzie Guillen via twitter. I love the 21st century so much…

Pierzynski decided that it was no big deal to speed to the game. Unfortunately, he was pulled over, and to quote the man himself, “I knew I was in trouble.”

The officer had no intention of letting Pierzynski go with a mere warning, and the catcher was given a citation. If there’s anything we can take from this incident, it’s that professional athletes really are just like us average Joes…
