White Chocolate Hangs It Up

Man I’m getting old:

Grizzlies‘ guard Jason Williams has announced his retirement. Well, second retirement, technically, but this time it sounds like it’s for real…Williams was, for some, the epitome of 90’s NBA basketball. A lot of flash and razzle-dazzle but not a whole lot of championship value…The nickname was started in Williams’ rookie year by Stephanie Shepard, a media relations assistant with the Sacramento Kings. “I came up with that name because of his style,” Shepard said. “He has flash and pizazz. The way he does things with the ball is incredible to me. It reminds me of, like, schoolyard street ball when I go to Chicago.”
For the youngins who don’t remember this Jason Williams, here’s his top 10 plays from when he was actually a legit point guard…
