Last season in baseball was remembered by many as the year of the no-hitter (or excellent pitching performance in general). Well, it took a little over a month for our first in 2011. Twins ace Francisco Liriano finally broke the ice in Chicago last night, throwing a no-no. It wasn’t the most glamorous no-hitter (6 walks, 123 pitches, only 2 strikeouts), but it still counts. Here was the final out:
